Wates Construction Houses BRE Scheme
Wates construction PRC houses repaired to the new BRE mortgage approved repair scheme, the Clients recently purchased their Wates PRC home under the Right to Buy scheme and arranged a high street mortgage to cover the costs of the purchase price from the Local Authority and the PRC repairs.
The external concrete PRC walls are removed and replaced with a traditional brick and block cavity wall. The doors and windows were replaced with high quality UPVC and french doors were added to the rear garden.New soffits, fascia and guttering were installed for a smart new look.

The new BRE scheme for Wates construction houses is for the same works to the external walls as the PRC Homes Ltd scheme but without the need for the internal concrete beam to be replaced and the additional works to the party wall, which can make living in the house during the repairs difficult on a PRC Homes repair scheme. The BRE scheme is also cheaper that a PRC Homes Ltd repair scheme.

All PRC repairs are issued with a PRC certificate, the works usually take around 7 to 8 weeks to complete and you do not need to move out.
